Pool Party

Who: Everyone
Where: Tidus' house
When: Friday evening, approximately 7 PM
What: A pool party.

The Victorian house was on 476 Beechwood crescent, a normal neighbourhood by normal standards, and was relatively quiet with only a few kids living around the area.

( Okay...so I got a little lazy with describing...>.> I dub this Tidus' house. )

And decided to be really lazy all the way...

( Here's the pool... )

(And I couldn't find a non-stuffy "interior" for the house, so you'll just have to make due with my tacky descriptions. XP )

There is one large living room to the right of the front doors, with the complete set of couches, black leather, and each one has a couple of pillows including a thin pale beige blanket draped over. The entertainment center is at one corner, facing the couches, and the fireplace is between the two larger couches. There's a beanie chair near the coffee table, and a rug overtop of the beechwood flooring. The fireplace has a collection of photos, mostly of Tidus and his games, and one recent family photo. Behind the largest of the couches was the bayview window with pale cream curtains drawn to the side.

To the left of the front doors is the stairway to the second floor. There are 4 bedrooms up here, one a guest room, another the master bedroom, next to it the work room, and the one closer to the stairs was Tidus' room. Tidus' room is a mixture of blue and yellow, with posters of his favourite soccer teams on his walls, and a motorcycle calendar on the inside of the door. His window is large, and shows the backyard, where the pool could be seen.

His parent's bedroom is off-limits. ( X3 )

The washroom looks partially Victorian inspired. There's a basement leading to the pool, and the game's room is in the basement. Another washroom is in the basement too.

( That's it for describing...o_o Tidus is showering. Feel free to come in and sit around in the living room. XO )

Real or not

By the way she sounded Zidane knew he was in trouble with her. He didn't know how bad, but just in case, he looked for the best hiding spot and escape route. Running down the street might work if he's fast enough, and there was a tree not too far from where they were standing that he hoped he could climb.

He looked at Garnet. "I'm really, really sorry about running off.."

Garnet scowled at him. "You really don't need to look for a place to run to, you know," she said, closing the door quietly behind her. "For one thing, it's not like I'm going to maim you or anything for ditching me halfway here."

She bit the inside of her cheek again thoughtfully, choosing her words carefully. As much as she wanted to be harsh and cold, she didn't exactly want to ruin other people's evenings just because of her selfishness. "Just... Will you just be considerate and tell me if you're going with someone else? That way, I could find someone else as well to go with."

Where's his head :o

"I wanted to go with you, Dagger," he said as he looked at his feet. "I like.." Zidane stopped, thought, and tried again with something different. "You know me best, and I don't know about you, but I have fun when we're together."

He held his swimming trunks up again. It was a little embarrassing for him, repeatedly holding up the reason he disappeared. "I ran back to get them, not to come with someone else. I swear."

Garnet swallowed her laughter, clearing her throat, keeping her face calm and expressionless. She was great with hiding her emotions, having to practice lying in front of her mother. "You know it's a pool party and yet you..."

She closed her eyes, feeling quite exasperated and annoyed. "Thank God I'm not going swimming tonight."

Where I belong

Zidane sighed. "Yeah, I forgot them, I'm not doing so well today."

Stupid. The only thing he was doing well today was being stupid. But he couldn't, wouldn't, let it continue, starting now.

"Not gonna swim, huh?" he said, beginning to make his way back to the house. "It's a shame. You would've looked real cute in a bikini." He didn't turn around or look at her, just kept walking to the door.

"Yeah, real cute, Zidane," she replied wryly, looking at him over her shoulder, a cheery smile on her lips. "But I'm afraid I don't want to be that person who would kill you tonight. I'll leave you in the caring hands of Tifa."

He stopped and watched the girl walk away. Certainly Garnet wouldn't sic Tifa on him.. His bruise from gym class oh-so long ago was still there. And he knew for a fact that he wouldn't last a minute up against a girl like her.

Looks like he'd be hanging out with someone else at the party. If not, he'd leave. Hopefully before Tifa found him and beat him to a pulp. He started walking again with a sigh. "Women.."

mischief madness

She glanced at her watch, before turning around, calling to him.

"Could you tell Tidus that I'm staying out here a bit?" she asked him, tilting her head to one side adorably. "It's kinda stuffy inside and..." I want to go home already. "And well, I'm feeling suffocated."

Black and White

"Yeah, yeah." he replied, rolling his eyes. "Whatever her majesty commands." He walked up onto the porch, noticing a blonde girl he didn't know standing at the door. He sighed, quietly, wondering if the night would get any better.
