Pool Party

Who: Everyone
Where: Tidus' house
When: Friday evening, approximately 7 PM
What: A pool party.

The Victorian house was on 476 Beechwood crescent, a normal neighbourhood by normal standards, and was relatively quiet with only a few kids living around the area.

( Okay...so I got a little lazy with describing...>.> I dub this Tidus' house. )

And decided to be really lazy all the way...

( Here's the pool... )

(And I couldn't find a non-stuffy "interior" for the house, so you'll just have to make due with my tacky descriptions. XP )

There is one large living room to the right of the front doors, with the complete set of couches, black leather, and each one has a couple of pillows including a thin pale beige blanket draped over. The entertainment center is at one corner, facing the couches, and the fireplace is between the two larger couches. There's a beanie chair near the coffee table, and a rug overtop of the beechwood flooring. The fireplace has a collection of photos, mostly of Tidus and his games, and one recent family photo. Behind the largest of the couches was the bayview window with pale cream curtains drawn to the side.

To the left of the front doors is the stairway to the second floor. There are 4 bedrooms up here, one a guest room, another the master bedroom, next to it the work room, and the one closer to the stairs was Tidus' room. Tidus' room is a mixture of blue and yellow, with posters of his favourite soccer teams on his walls, and a motorcycle calendar on the inside of the door. His window is large, and shows the backyard, where the pool could be seen.

His parent's bedroom is off-limits. ( X3 )

The washroom looks partially Victorian inspired. There's a basement leading to the pool, and the game's room is in the basement. Another washroom is in the basement too.

( That's it for describing...o_o Tidus is showering. Feel free to come in and sit around in the living room. XO )

Demyx, at first, sat down on the grass, but soon he decided to lay down. It really was comfortable. He wondered what sort of grass it was. They must have watered it often to keep it so green and soft. He sighed streatching himself out.

"I didn't really want to come in the first place." He started. He didn't know why he decided to confess this to Saix, probably because he sort of had this nagging feeling that the other man didn't really want to be there either. "I am not much of a people person...or a party person for that matter."

((No worries if you don't get on AIM..as long as you keep posting!))

"Me neither," was the simple, verbal reply. Though, perhaps some of the edge was taken off, some of the hate that warded off others from hearing what he felt.

With a sigh, he sat down next to Demyx, keeping about six feet between them, watching cars go by and watching the sky slowly begin to darken, turning a dark blue, then yellow, orange, red, and even a bit of violet at the very edge.

Demyx rolled his head to the side looking at the blue-haired man. He sat so far away, but for good reason probably. He then looked up at the sky and smiled.

The way the colors of the sky sort of meshed together like that was really pretty. It reminded him of a series of music notes, stacking themselves on top of each other, and creating a new chord. He then mentally slapped himself for incorporating everything into music. He really needed to get a life.

Or a girlfriend or something...

"So... You have a girlfriend? It seems like you would...especially after being forced to be around nothing but guys for so long." He laughed nervously.

Saix shrugged. "No," he said flatly. "I guess I never had time. Always had schoolwork, kendo class, or work," he said, shrugging his shoulder, golden eyes fixed on watching the sky change colors. It wasn't like his father would have approved of such a relationship anyways unless he had picked out the girl, and all the ones he DID pick were bimbos with no more sense than a grape. In fact, that was insulting the grape.

"Yea.. i know that feeling. It feels like all i do is practice." He laughed, thinking about what his private teacher always told him. "Practice practice practice... If you wanna be someone, you gotta practice."

Demyx groaned at the thought of his voice. Sometimes it grew on his nerves. He rarely got out, and when he did it was always related to music. Gigs, recitals, concerts, rehearsals... He never had time for anyone or anything else.

Hell! His best friend so far was his teacher!

"I need to get a life or something..." He closed his eyes and sighed once again. Why couldn't he be more social like everyone else. He then realized he had been talking alot. Saix probably didn't care.

"Sorry...sometimes i forget i am talking. Don't mind me." He mumbled.

Saix shrugged. "S'okay," he replied, picking at the seam of his shirt, which read 'My Homeboy Can Kick Your Homeboy's Ass'. He forgot where he had gotten it, but it annoyed his dad and that was all that mattered.

It was odd. Demyx hadn't gotten on his nerves yet. Well, neither had Tidus when they had hung out - at least not as much as most people did. In fact, he'd have to say he didn't MIND hanging with Tidus, which was strange, and he had the same sort of feeling with this Demyx guy. Hn. Might as well run with it.

"You said gigs?" he said, diving further in.
